Stephanie Angelo, SPHR is an award-winning business consultant who pioneered a process that translates domestic abuse to determine the financial impact on organizations.  Her work saves US companies $7.9 M in lost workdays alone each year.  Hers is an in-depth comprehensive program with long-term results. Stephanie’s organizational work includes expertise in bullying prevention, and human resource administration.

Clients include insurance companies, financial institutions and retailers.  She presents on a national level to organizations and conferences, primarily to Executives and Human Resource professionals. Previous conferences include Colorado Association for Victims Assistance, Society for Human Resource Management SHRM (several states), American Society for Industrial Security, Employee Assistance Providers Association, and several state Domestic Violence coalitions.

Stephanie has written, or been interviewed for, numerous articles, such as the Arizona Republic and Phoenix Business Journal and has been interviewed several times on every major news channel in Phoenix.  Her book Bringing the Darkness into the Light provides stories of survival along with vital resources and safety information.

Stephanie has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix.  She’s a Development Dimensions International certified instructor, and holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation from the Human Resources Certification Institute.  One of her programs is approved for Strategic-level, and one for General re-certification units for HR professionals.

Stephanie is a professional member of the National Speakers Association (NSA), a past Board Member of National Speaker’s Association-Arizona, and Speaker Magazine editorial committee.  She is a member of Society for Human Resource Management. She is a past member of two Phoenix-area domestic violence commissions.  In 2008 and 2009 she was nominated for the Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence’s “Courage of Conviction” award.  In both 2008 and 2009 she received the Best of Tempe Award in the Lecture & Seminar Bureaus category by the U.S. Local Business Association. Human Resource Essential is listed on the Family Violence Prevention Fund’s web site as a National Workplace Resource. She has received Arizona Peace Officers Standards Training board (AZPOST) certification.
